I know the application guidelines say that if you reapply for a character you previously dropped, they can retain their memories of being in Landel's before. Is that only if you take them from the same canon point as before, or can it still apply if they come from a later point?
An example for clarity (hopefully): Billy Bob was taken from May 5, 2009, in his canon. Billy Bob stayed at Landel's for two weeks before he was dropped and disappeared. In reapplying for Billy Bob, does his canon point need to remain May 5, 2009, or can he be "updated" to, say, February 2010, as if he went back to his canon world when he disappeared from Landel's? And if updating is possible in conjunction with memory retention, would it be assumed that Billy Bob forgot about Landel's when he was back in his canon and only remembered upon arriving again?
